From Point Pleasant Beach to Island Beach State Park

Starting at the south side of the Manasquan Inlet, the towns and beaches in the northern section of Ocean County offer something for everyone. Beautiful beaches with plenty of parking and daily beach passes in many areas allow or a relaxing day at the oceans edge.  After a day of fun in the sun, the boardwalks, arcades and rides of Point Pleasant and Seaside Heights provide plenty of entertainment.  Food stands, bars and great restaurants are all within walking distance.

Heading south brings you to the beaches and incredible beach and bay front homes of Bay Head and Mantoloking.  Lavish home rentals and beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inns. Further down route 35 leads you into the towns of Brick, Lavalette and Ortley.  Considered to be the heart of the family vacation area, these towns offer summer vacation rentals for families of all sizes.  Weekly, monthly and seasonal rentals are widely available.  Shopping, restaurants and the beaches are all within walking distance from the bay to the ocean.

The most southern part of the island brings you to the towns like Seaside Heights, Seaside Park and Berkeley.  Beachfront hotels, motels and home rentals cover all the bases allowing for day time fun at the beach and boardwalk followed by restaurants and clubbing at night.

The very southern tip ends with what is considered the "Jewel of the Jersey Shore", Island Beach State Park.  Pack the car and the kids for an incredible day of beach fun and exploring the untouched nature areas.
